Did you know...

…the first city on the territory of modern Turkey appeared… ten and a half thousands years ago! This most antique settlement, precisely its urban form, is considered to be the eldest settlement not just in Turkey but in the world. It is notable that women were those who governed this town called Catal Huyuk, because at the late Stone Age there was matriarchate in Europe

We stayed for a week in January 2010 at Arden Hotel. We really liked the hotel and its location. The staff was friendly, good renewal, furniture and breakfasts. We could leave our phones and money and nothing had been stolen. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

I got a room for a really good price on turkeytps.com. Although I had a great stay, we had to change a room upon moving in as we found out that the ac unit in the first room was bad, we were given another room which was absolutely great. We didn’t have any problem with it.

Stayed here August, 2009. My room was not very clean. Staff not always friendly. A/C not working properly. However, the breakfast, although not superb, was plentiful and nice.

Booked this hotel after searching all the web sites and checking back here.. We wanted a suite so that my husband can stay up late and watch TV and I can go to bed earlier without the noise. Although it was a bit noisy in hotel, it was a very nice hotel, the staff were super friendly and it was very clean. They even gave me directions when we couldn’t find a particular restaurant on my own.. The bathroom & shower was clean, great water pressure. Loved having a minibar wit hvarious drinks.

Stayed in Arden Hotel form Feb 27th till March 8th. The room looked like it was recently refurbished with neat decor. It had a TV, minbar and sufficinet space for two of us.. Breakfats was also good, but pretty much the same as in a cheaper hotel where we stayed before. I didn’t see any difference. Bathroom was quite small but very stylish too.

Excellent hotel located near shopping and metro and trams. Rooms nice and bright with lots of space. Beds very comfortable and rooms clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Great and very relaxibg sauna, but it was quite noisy in hotel and the air-conditioning system in our room didn’t really work very well..

My gf and I spend one week in this hotel, it was good. They must have the most comfortable beds in the world. Beautifully decorated rooms, lovely dining room and cafe area. In a good location a short walk to Blue Mosque and all attractions. Very competant staff!

This hotel didn’t live up to my expectations. We stayed there because it was close to center of the old city and was recommended by other travellers. We had a room which was ratehr small if not tiny, with a small bathroom and a bed with uncomfortable matress. The breakfast was included in our rate but it was nothign special.

We stayed here first weekend in March and had a fantasic time. Checkin was efficient and we had a suite room!, really cool interior throughout the hotel area and rooms, from celling to floors. The breakfast room area was lovely to, staff very friendly to help and looked after you. The hotel had an authentic feel to it i thought. The whole decor was just lovely. ideal location, close enough to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, but far away enough from all the noise. Casual walk to shopping areas. will be returning in the near future :)

Spent 4 nights here when travelling in Turkey. It was a good place to stay. I booked the room on turkeytps.com and got an extremely good rate. The staff was great. I got a room with a view. The room was nicely furnished, the beds comfortable, and the neighbourhood relatively quiet. The location was great -close to sightseeing, great resturants! We’ll stay there again!

I stayed here for only two nights. I didn’t like my room very much, it was small and stuffy cause AC didn’t work quite well. I did not get a chance to go but they also provide free breakfast in the mornings and I heard it was bad too. When I was checking out I told at the front desk that I had a problem with the AC and asked to get some money back but they refused it.

We just returned from 4-day stay at the Arden Hotel in Istanbul. This reasonably priced property is so close to major attractions of the area. We stayed in a room on third floor which was a clean and lovely room overlooking the city. Our room had a big bed, a desk and a minibar, and a roomy bathroom. If you are looking for a peaceful experience, don’t look no more. The front desk staff was friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was not clean. Front desk staff was not friendly. They even charged me extra when I was checking out, I had to explain them that it was their mistake. The hotel is very close to sightseeing places though. The free breakfast in the morning added a nice touch too. The wireless internet was slow.
