I stayed at this hotel with my wife, and the first thing I want to mention is the friendly and kind staff that have always been ready to help us. The restaurant on the roof is awesome, the food is very tasty, and not only there. Breakfast was served on time and there were a plenty of food to choose. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and there was not heard any noise. I cannot understand people who are complaining that it was noisy. Maybe it is because our room was not near the railway line. I can advise you to choose the room with greater attention to avoid excessive noise. And for sure next year we will stay here again!

In general it is a comfortable 4* hotel, We enjoyed our three night stay here - while not a luxurious place, but ok, the staff were very friendly, the room was quite small but had all the necessary amenities - tv, haidryer, minibar. Also had a very big bed! The only (slight) problem we had was the noise fro mthe railway! Another minor annoyance was the breakfast, which was included in our room rate but we didn’t like it. Don’t bother!! It was in a tiny cramped little room, staff were rude here and rushed off their feet, there was a queue of people crammed in the corner waiting to be seated and the food was average.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room we had wasquite small, but it was room clean and seemed in good condition. The lobby was clean during our stay. The front desk staff was nice the few times we interacted with them. The maids were very nice to us (maybe because we spoke some turkish :-). For the price we paid this hotel was a great deal. Short walk to the sights and to shopping area. I’d stay here again on my next Istanbul trip.

The location was ideal as it is a short walk to the center of old city. We liked being in a neighborhood that was lively! This hotel had the atmosphere of a boutique hotel with stylish modern design and furniture. The rooms are small but we felt comfortable. Windows faced the street, making the room airy and bright. The bed was comfortable with soft linen. The bathroom is small but well designed with nice smelling shampoo and lotions. The staff was friendly and super helpful. At the hotel there was plenty of turkish hospitality. We had a tasty breakfast and all in all it was a good experience.

Avicenna was brilliant. Stayed in room on second floor, Yes the air conditioning is a bit noisy but works well., the room was an average size and house keeping was fine. The hotel is in Sultanahmet and the neighbourhood is gorgeous with plenty of resturants and shops. I stayed in the hotel for 9 days and don’t have a bad word to say about it and for the rates this hotel is a gem.

Hello everyone! We have just recently returned from Avicenna Hotel. Our room was a nice size - and very clean. The bathroom had the standard gels and shower caps. The beds were extremely comfortable, nice quality white linen. I visited Istanbul with my wife, and she was extremely satisfied with this hotel too- the location was very good. Within a short stroll were lots of different restaurants. Our room was a single room, and again considering the location, free transfer, free breakfast, free wireless, price was more than adequate. The breakfast was typical of Turkey, and both plentiful and fresh. Book this hotel with complete confidence - I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I was not very satisfied with this place. My room was a little old, showing a little wear and tear on the furniture and carpets, but it was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice towels, decent TV. The front desk clerk was not very friendly. The breakfast was ready at the stated hour and as advertised lots of cereals, juices, milk, coffee, etc., though the breakfast lounge could have used some serious vaccuuming.

We last stayed here at the end of March for a couple of nights, we had stayed there previously. This is a hotel that offers good service and is in a good location for shopping and sightseeing. We found the room very clean (not much of a view though), but the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definately stay there again. Our experience was ok.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This hotel while has modest amenities but provides good location. Included in the price are breakfats and free wireless internet access in room. The rooms were small but clean and functional, with sattelite TV and a minibar. You are within walking distance of the historical center of the city.

From my point of view and from my personal experience of staying in hotels multiple times, Avicenna Hotel is very average. Morever, my room wa soverlooking the trailways and it was very noisy until late night. I complained to front desk about it but was told that the hotel was full, so my room could not be changed. It was absolutely impossible to sleep with the noise form the train. Hotel looked like a wooden cottage house, no beautiful views fro mthe windows as the building is not evry high.

We were happily surprised when we checked in Avicena Hotel. We were greeted by the front desk stuff and checkin was very smooth. The front desk was helpful. Room was not too big, not too small. The furniture, while not brand-new, was perfectly fine and theroom itself was a lot cleaner than a lot of other rooms we have stayed in. We enjoyed our stay andI recommend this hotel for a stay with the family, there are lots of things to do in the area.
