I travelled alone. Butik Star Hotel was not cheap and it wasn’t worth the money I paid. Pretty tiny rooms and I wonder how two people would fit in there..Same size bathroom..I had to run the shower for 10 minutes to get hot water! The nicest thing was the location. Internet service worked slowly and sometimes it didn’t work at all.

Found Butik Star to be very centrally located. Ideal location to visit all the sites. Staff very helpful. Would recommend to visit the restaurant across the street, though food excellent in the hotel as well. The only problem we had were outr neighbors who were very loud, but good thing they checked out real soon/

I stayed in Butik Star in 2008 and loved everything about them ! The room was exceptionally clean, and although it was kinda small, it was spotless and included everything necessary. We dined at their restaurant every night, and the man at the lobby bar , Michael, was lovely! I would definitely reccomend this accommadation for anyone staying in Taksim The view at the sea was beauifull as well :) Enjoy your holiday xxxx

Well the hote lhas eight floors but it’s incredibly small, with small rooms and a lobby the size of a room. Breakfast was neither very rich, nor very tasty too to my taste. Some sausages, some stinky cheese. The internet connection was just horrible, very slow!! But maybe it’s just the way it is!

For my usual "end-of-the-year spring trip" I decided for Istanbul and Butik Hotel, I’ve never been there before. It has to be said Istanbul is really lovely and a must-see (and superb food, of course); I chose this hotel,in Taksim. a few minutes walk will bring you to the shopping area. The room and the bed were both larger then I could expect. Breakfast above average, warm and helpful welcome, courtesy much above average. The staff are friendly and speak good English - overall a nice stay and end to our holiday.

Stayed in this hotel March 09 and highly recommend to everyone. Always very friendly and very helpful English speaking staff. Beautiful historic building, newly renovated. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with high sealing and big windows. Also, the view at sea is amazing!! Location is perfect on a very nice green street near park and short walk to shops and entertainment centers. Beautiful eating area with nice breakfast. We asked for afternoon tea and got excellent room service. We just liked everything in this hotel.

What I really liked about Butik Star – its location!! It was very close to Istikleali Street where you can find many bars, restaurants and stores for shopping. But my room was incredibly small, so was the bathroom! And the view for the windows of my room was at the street, not sea (though they had some rooms with the view at sea, I wish I had booked that one!), so it was noise at night wit hall the night life going on.

From the help by e-mail sent to us in the UK before we set out untill we sadly had to check out, nothing but a first class service. Well we stayed in this hotel two nights. I can say that the location is very good, it’s right next to Istikleal street, and you can get from here to any point of the city. But our room was tiny. On top of that A/C wasn;’t working preperly in our room as well, and power went off one evening!! I’d say an average hotel.

Room was very small. Transfer was convinient cause it’d be hard to find a route to the hotel. Front desk peopel didn’t provide us with any information about the location and available restaurants in the area when we checked in. There were only a few tv chanelles to watch..Staff was not evry helpful..

We stayed at Butik Star for a week. I cannot say I was impressed with this property and service. Staff at the reception were not always friendly and helpful. We had a double room which was not clean and didn’t have those little extra things you’d expect from a 4 star property. Thumbs up for location though.
