The hotel was nice and the room was nice. Honestly, though I knew that the hotel was close to the sights, I did not expect to be so close. We had easy access to hotel cause they provided us with free transfer. the only problem we had during our stay was that I got sick to my stomach from their food at breakfast. This kind of spoiled my vacation, I guess I shouldn’t have eaten that much and everything would be okay, especially taking into consideration that the other members of my fam were OK.

We booked this on turkeytps.com and absolutely loved our stay here. I don’t think we couldn ask for anything more. Teh only thing the rate wa sa little high but the location was unbeatable, the rooms were great, and the staff spoke good English. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of fruits. A good stay and we sure wish we’d stay longer.

I had a good stay in Istanbul at Celal Sultan Hotel. The hotel is good for relax. The rooms are standard, and the bed large and comfy. Only problem was the staff in the hallways talking loud, really woke me up in the morning! There are lots of sightseeing places in a short walk from the hotel which are well worth a visit, particularly if you like history!

Stayed five nights while in Istanbul and I need to tell you that therea are so man ything s to see in Istanbul that 5 days was not enough for us. I thought the hotel was above average and really liked the rate. Breakfast buffet was excellent and we really liked the area, lots of shopping and restaurants and wonderful architecture! Ican recomend thi hotel to families or just as a good place for getaway!

I think Celal Sultan is in the perfect location if your interested in being close to the sites. Othe than that I agree, it is avergae. Cleaning services need improvement, I found lots of dust in the room and on the desk. The carpet was not vacuumed properly. We had a saticfactory stay at this hotel.

I travel to Istanbul for work and the celal sultan hotel was a good experience. The hotel staff was the friendliest I’ve ever encountered, and the location was convenient. The room I stayed in was small but I was fine since the bed was comfy, the linens were high-quality and the lcd screen t.v. was great. The breakfats for guests each morning was great and very fresh, I highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed at Celal Sultan Hotel and I could not stop bragging to all my friends of the service we received by the front desk staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to those who want to see the sights as the hote lis very close and receive high class customer service! the only downside was the noise from the street, but it was not too bad.

Ok I agree that the loction was great and all, but the rate was too expensive!!! High rate and all you get is a basic room similar to many other rooms I’ve stayed before !! There are tons of other hotels in the area that are way much cheaper!! Basic breakfast, ok but still i think the rate was too much.

Celal Sultan Hotel had everything. It was a perfect getaway for my wife and myself as there were no crowds of people in the hotel and it wasvery quiet during our stay. The short walk from our room to the center of old city was perfect. The restaurant withing the hotel was a bit expensive but it is a nice hotel so it is expected. At this point we are trying to figure out when we can go again! ;)

This hotel is clean with very friendly staff. They answered all my questions. If you are staying here while visiting Istanbul it is short walk to Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Hippodromme Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palaceand underground cistern. Free breakfast was good and very fillling. Room had a minbar and a decent tv. Overall it was o.k. but a little expensive for the size of the room.

We stayed at the Celal Sultan Hotel for 4 nights during our vacations and found everything about it just perfect. Location, friendly staff, the best food and great choice menu for breakfast. We had done quite a lot of travelling through Turkey and to be honest it was nice to get somewhere where we felt we could just relax and also have everything on our doorstep. The hotel had a good atmosphere throughout the day and evening, it was the perfect place to stay. The room was very comfortable and bed just to die for. Though the room was not that big, it didnt matter because it was beautifully decorated and spotless.

We had a wonderful stay... great service .. friendly staff from the time we walked into the hotel until we left. Location was perfect - we walked to many sites. I think it is an average hotel. Good food, and very comfortable beds, but service wasn’t great, people at reception weren’t always helpful and friendly. I would also fault them for the breakfast, it didn’t include many choices, and i also got a stomach infection after eating there, not sure if it was due to the hotels food but i think so.
