Daphne Hotel [S-Class]  

The hotel is located in several minutes walk from all the main sights and transport.All the rooms were very well furnished and what should be marked, the showers have good pressure. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a convenient individuality and a good taste there, and it makes you want to stay there. Breakfast - smorgasbord - lavish and healthy. They can arrange you sightseeing, transfer to the airport, and so on. And even will give you recommendations, concerning supper. Notebook in the hall offers free Internet to all the guests, and it is very convenient. What makes Daphne hotel really special, is kindness and friendliness of the staff and a very high level of servicing.

We like this hotel very much. Friendly staff, clean rooms. The only lack - some kind of adjoining door with our neighbors. Excellent location and breakfasts. Not very good sea view, but it was not too important for us as we came back very late.

Good location but bad customer service!! The staff was not always knowledgeble about the location. They are there not only to smile and say hello, but to help as well. This is the only downside, cause otherwise everything is fine with the hotel. Very nice rooms. Thanks Turkey TPS for great rate and such a great service, unlike the service in hotel! :)

Breakfast was nice, because you don’t have to travel to get breakfast prior to leaving the hotel. I was swapped to another room the next day I moved in cause there was a problem with shower in the room. Another room I got had a problem with a/c, it making very loud noises! I ended up with moving into a different room in the middle of the night on the following day. Let me tell just tell this, it’s not fun changing rooms when all you want is just a good night sleep.

The hotel was as beautiful as Istanbul itself! The hotel is nicely decorated, making you feel like you truly are in soem palace.IT has all modern conveniances such as wireless internet, coffee and tea in the lobby, and delicious breakfast. I also enjoyed the view during my stay...the view of the sea was breath taking!! I thank this hotel staff for making my stay so pleasurable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place in the Sultanahmet area that is quiet, and welcoming.

I stayed here and I enjoyed it. I had a room with a safe, phone, mirror, cable TV, minibar, AC..Drinks from mini-bar were too expensive though. I just loved the hotel bar where I met some interesting folks! Hotels location was great and staf fwas very nice and polite. I like staying in new hotels, less trouble! =)

My wife and I spent 4 nights in Daphne Hotel. Overall, it was not bad and room had everything but customer service left a lot to eb desired. They were pretty indifferent and didn’t help too much when I asked for advice on directions. Staff needs to be trained better. However, the hotel posesses a great location in a very quiet and calm location, being close to everything at the same time. We really enjoyed Istanbul ans would love to be back one day again, but on a different property.

Ok this hotel is new as advertised but still it has a lot fo problems such as maintanace of rooms. The faucets in the bathroom were leaking and the air condotioning was too loud which was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Wireless internet was vaailable in room the connection wasn’t very excellent. On a positive note, the breakfast was good and location was perfect.

Well, I was not very satisfied with our room for a number of reasons. First of all it was very small (and so was the bathroom). Second, I was told I was placed in a room with a sea view but one could hardly see the sea out of the windows of my room. Third, the sink in the bathroom was clogged (though after my copmplaint they fixed it). Forth, the room wasn’t really as clean as I’d expect. There was dust on tv.

We have just returned from our 5-day trip to Istanbul. We have chosen Daphne Hotel due to its convinient location and we were very satisfied. We got a free transfer from the airport to the hotel. Also, we had a free breakfats in the morning that was just great. Hotel is mintes away from Bluw Mosque and other sights..Our room 206 was very clean and had a great view. All in all, it was a good time in Istanbul.

Hello there! I would like to share my experience of staying at this hotel in the end of March. The hotels location just couldn’t be better, it is evry close to Topkapi Palace, Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque.. Tram staion is also nearby which makes it very convinient for travellers to explore the city. We liked the design of the hotel in general and the rooms design. I found our room quite small, but it had a magnificent view at the sea so I wouldn’t change it. The breakfats was good but didn’t have too many choices.

My girlfriend and I have just recently returned from Dpahne Hotel. Overall, it was ok, but the problem was that the hotel is new and didn’t have a central heating systenm and we were very cold. I heard many guests complaining about it in th hotel. We had to use A/C to warm the room, but it was way too noisy and not convinient for sleeping. Other than that, the breakfats was good and the location was just great.

This hotel is a really good place for relaxation. The hotel is by the sea and it was very quiet, no facing busy streets or something liek that which I liked a lot. At the same time, it is very close to major sightseeing places which is the biggest advantage of the hotel. We could walk to Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Sanat Sophia, Grand Bazaard; Staff was very efficient and helpful. Also, we found it very convinient to have airport pick-up from the company, apart from excellent room rate you are getting free pick-up, what a deal!

We have just recently returned from Istanbul where we stayed at Daphne Hotel. We really liked everything, from breahfast to the amazing view at the sea from our room (didn’t really expect we’d have it). We were very happy with our choice. Hotel has an absolutely unbeatable location, right in heart of Sultanhament, however it is facing the sea, so I found it relatively quiet. Our room was very clean and I would like to sya thank you to turkeytps company for organization of our stay and free transfer.

We spent 3 nights in Istanbul at this wonderful luxurious hotel. This is what I call good vacation! Certainly the best place to stay in Sultanahmet in my opinion. The staff was efficient and welcoming. The building itself was very impressive. The room in this recently opened hotel was very large, comfortable, well equiped, with a nice sea view. Breakfast was luxurious. We did not like the restaurant so much although the service was impecable. This place is one of the best I personally experienced.

Stayed at Daphen Hotel with my husband on a tour to Istanbul. Staff was friendly, room was great and so was the free breakfast, will stay there again!

I didn’t like this hotel very much. I don’t know why people are complaining about the customer service. It’s not that bad. I was more upset with the room facilities. Furniture and faucets in the bathroom are just a few things that starting to fall apart. You can tell, the mengament of this hotel doesn’t take a good care of the hotel.
