hotel exceeded my expactations.its really an old building but nicely reconstructed.room size corresponds to the money you pay, but clean as in 4-5 star hotels.furniture is new. stuff very polite and helpful.and you have a bar 24 hours with all kinds of coffee and tea and snucks for free.
just be aware its in a shopping area for hole sale, but in many shops they sell retail too and you can find local goods with perfect quality for nothing

This is a budget hotel, fairly clean with very friendly and helpful staff. It is very centrally located and the buffet breakfast was very good. There was a good choice of cereals and rolls, though the hot food had some surprising choices! I would definitely stay here again and I would also recommend the restaurant one block down. Turn right on leaving the hotel.

Have just returned from a weekend at the Gold hotel. We encountered a few minor problems, such as where to park our car as the hotel car park was not opened. However the operations manager kindly arranged for us to use his car park space. We found all the hotel staff extreemley helpful. The location is fantastic. Very near to shops. Breakfast was included and of a very high standard. Rooms splendid. I even got my hair cut at hairdresser’s in hotel!! Overall very enjoyable and would stay there again.

If you are coming to Istanbul you have to stay at the Gold hotel is Lelili, the bar is fun,live music...the food that they served at the restaurant is amazing, The cafe is great lots of people always there. They set up tours for us with the best price that you can find. Its a great place and the staff is helpful.

My family and I loved this hotel-location for shopping, rooms excellent, clean , modern decor, girl working late night shift helped when we locked keys in car!!!! nice Turkish bath, nice lobby area with bar and cafe. best breakfast and a la carte restaurant we’ve ever seen at a hotel

Excellent location in Laleli, all transport on doorstep, great for getting around. Have used this hotel several times and never been dissapointed. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel for a nice quiet stay in Istanbul

Our room was smelled funny and was very hot. First night it was ok but then something weird was going on with the ac. It was blowing cool air , it was not enough. Bath room was tiny. It was equipped with toiletries but they forgot to refill the ma couple of times. They did change towels but the housekeeper was extremely impolite. She would not do anything even you complain many times

We stayed at Gold hotel for 7 days. It is a wonderful hotel that has been recently upgraded. The outdoor patio is very beautiful with some flowering plants. There is a wonderful restaurant where they cooks up great fish (very fresh) and typical dishes. They help you book tours or if you need a shuttle service. The staff is also very friendly. The rooms are very nice, the decor is nice and the bathroom with the all ceramic tile, shower is great! There is a tv where you can watch cable, It was perfect for us because night time comes early and we relaxed in the lobby bar with a drink after supper. We will return again, Thanks again to all the staff for a memorable stay for me and friends!

This is one of the most amazing trips I’ve been on. I like the option to have private time and have time to visit with my friends and meet people, as well as the option to relax and be leisurely and also to have some adventure and experience another culture. This trip was definitely that and even more. First, the staff do everything there - their love of this place and their passion in their holistic approach to life are evident. The food is amazing and predominately sea food .. As for being in Leleli, I loved it. SO MANY SHOPS! Do yourself a favor, and replenish yourself in this magical and lovely place.

Liked the style of the room but the linens seemed to be really old and yellowish, had some stains on it!
Curtains in shower dirty and sink had a crack on the side. The view from the room was nice though and breakfast was ok

Hotel Gold is an excellent hotel and a good value, located right in the heart of Laleli. Our room was a decent size and the bathroom was very large. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommended. We did not dine at the a la carte restaurant so I can’t comment on it, but it looked very nice.

In a peaceful area, quiet and comfortable stay...I liked my stay there. Breakfast and room, more than I expected. Lovely staff. I suggest you to see other areas of Istanbul as well - amazing sightseeing! Turkish kitchen is very delicious I liked. It is not so close to the sights but handy for shopping you could easily access. I would stay again.

the AC was working too well :)) because I set it to be cool in room and it was too cold and apperently the AC just didn’t work properly. I asked the receptionist for a spare blanket but he said he didn’t have any ??!! , noise from the street kept me awake most of the night ,, breakfast was a joke...does anyone want a hard boiled egg every day?

I stayed for two nights with my daughter and grand-daughter. I requested single beds, and that is what we were given. The room, though compact, was clean. Nice lobby, tea/coffee at your disposal any time. The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was very satisfying, and the staff were very helpful. They have a currency exchange in the hotel it was very convivinient.

Not the very best of Isatnbul hotels to be honest. Breakfast was slightly warm, and it was supposed to be HOT. Very poor breakfast, just the name. Room cleaning was not even done one day!!! Small tv, old furniture.

Stayed in this hotel in January 2008. The hotel is well situated on the sea front and the rooms were of a good size. The staff were helpful and the service attentive. This hotel has been designed to a high standard. It compared very favourably to some of the older hotels in the same category. I would be happy to return.

stayed at this hotel with my family last month. The hotel was ok but was less compared to what we expected as we looked at it carefully online before booking.We picked it because it had lots of facilities and as we had a nine year old child with us it appealed to us, overall our stay was pleasant. Most of the staff were very helpful with the exception of one very rude receptionist which was working on the evening we left.
