We stayed at Golden Age Deluxe for a weekend recently and had a good experience. The location was simply perfect,close to Taksim Square and all the amenties of Istanbul. The room was comfortable and the hotel bar was a great place to relax. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you can get a good deal! For dinner near the hotel is an excellent restaurant.

The hotel looked good from the outside and in the lobby. However, the rooms weren’t nice looking, but rather small and dark. Showers not so clean. We were only there for three days. The location was nice and quiet though, away from busy streets.

My wife and I took our 13 year old son with us for Istanbul visit. Stayed in a very large and comfortable room with great view in the distance. The Hotel is really fantastic. Very luxurious. But the best thing about the Golden Age are the people. I read a review knocking the hotel for unpolite staff - our experience was the opposite. As nice as everyone could possibly be. The staff is first class and friendly. They want to make all guests happy. Isytnbul is so much fun - so cosmopolitan and exciting. Can’t go wrong staying at the Golden Age.

Some reviewers seem a little too hard to please, because the hotel is a luxury hotel, but it is also one of the oldest luxury hotels in the city and I believe it has aged a little . This hotel is more amazing than any where I stayed before . The bathroom in my room was very clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay at the Golden Age Deluxe and will definitely be staying there again.

The Golden Age Deluxe Hotel is a great hotel with a great location. It was in close proximity to everywhere I needed to be while in Isytnbul on business. I’ve stayed at plenty of other istanbul hotels and this one is by far the best. It is luxurious and the staff is attentive, polite, and very friendly One of the front desk staff, was extremely helpful when I had questions about the hotel services.

I stayed at the Golden Age Deluxe 02/23 - 02/28 to attend a seminar.The staff was there to get you whatever you needed at any hour of the day. I agree with the previous posters who wrote that the hotel is very cclean. I found most of the staff to be very professional and quick to assisst.. I will be staying at The Golden Age again in tw months and look forward to another wonderful stay. I would highly recomend this property.

the hotel was in a good location and evry clean however we had one problem. When we checked in,
first thing we wanted was a shower but it was broken!! We went downstairs to the reception desk and informed them of our problem. We then went shopping and when we returned, the problem had been fixed. It wasn’t a big deal but still u expect everthing to be fine in a 4 star hotel.

Loved the Golden Age Deluxe!!!!!!!! My girl and I stayed in room on the 2nd floor. We checked in late on Tuesday and the minute we entered the room the AC was on and the room smelled like it was just cleaned. Housekeeping also did an excellent job. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The staff was awesome, always willing to help (especially the guy who checked us in). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would definitely stay there again.

GREAT LOCATION BUT THE ROOM WAS NOT VERY COMFY AND CLEAN. BED WAS TOO HARD AND PILLOWS WERE TOO THIN. MORNING BREAKFAST DID NOT INCLUDE MANY ITEMS. STAF NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE LOCATION.
