it was my first trip to Istanbul, so I am not disappointed with the hotel. I was afraid that no one is going to understand my English, but the staff were very kind and attentive and helped every time I needed it. My only complaint concerns the rooms, which were not clean enough. But in general it was a pleasant experience!

Stayed here for 3 nights, liked that my room was very clean, that is important to me. I have had a problem with the internet access though. Many times I had to wait for a long for a signal. They also offered a good breakfast which is another plus for me. It’s a nice location as well.

I wasn’t very happe with the Golden Horn Sirkeci. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted and the receptionist was neither polite or friendly, the facility is not well kept and clean. I don’t think we will ever be back.

I was staying here for 2 weeks due to business. I wasn’t very glad with my decision to stay here overall. My room was kind of small for 2 weeks, so was the bed. The location is in a historical area, but it is not peaceful as this is the center of the city, though there are big trees and lots of sighseeing around the area. The front desk service leaves something to be desired.

We loved the location of the hotel but we had a problem with the AC during our stay, it didn’t work well and was blowing warm air all the time, but that was the only issue, our room was very nice and I loved the decor in hotel.

Unofrunately, the bar in the corner of the ground floor didn’t have alcohol drinks :(( what’s up with that?? the breakfats was fine however there were better choices to eat at other restaurants in the neighborhood. The A/C wasn’t working properly and it was very a little too cold in my room.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the city! Terrific view from the roof terrace! and not very expensive also. I stayed with my boyfriend 3 nights as a city break. We never had breakfast in the hotel,because we prefer to have breakfast somewhere in the centre - because its just so close. I would definately go there again and recommend to others\

spent a nicht with my girl at this hotel. We booked only for one night because we were taking a plane next morning at 10am. The shuttle picked us up. The hotel is not far from the airport, and anyway the shuttle is free. The hotel is nice, good for the price. The rooms are fine, and comfortable. The pool was not big, but there was no one swimming, so we didn’t have any problems. The restaurant is ok too. In the lobby you have tea and coffee. You’ll enjoy your stay for one or two nights!

My wife and I stayed here shortly after it was refurbished, and found it to be charming. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless and stylish. The only snag was lack of seating one breakfast, at which point the owner himself came to apologise.Couldn’t ask for more than that. Great boutique hotel

stayed four nights in the hotel and honestly had zero problems. The people were brief but helpful and knowing that there would be little in the way of extras, I simply didn’t expect what was not coming. Honestly, I’m pretty independant so much of the services Turkish hotels provide I do not use. My room in this hotel was small, neat, and clean facing the garden and the street was quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. And after running around in central Istanbul, I was happy for a break from crowds! Golden Horn is not far from some small markets/restaurants; I would happily stay there again. As others have noted, the provided breakfast is fairly basic, but I tried it one morning and enjoyed the corn flakes. It was enough to sastisfy my hunger until lunch.

I was at the Golden Horn in Sept ’08. I had a single room. The room and bathroom were small but they were fine for my needs. There was a shower stall and hair dryer in the bath and a flat screen TV in the room. I did have to ask for towels one day, though. The breakfast was cereal, toast, coffee and juice, but the dinners at the a la carte retsurant were great. The location couldn’t have been better. I loved the roof terrace with a great view over the city. Overall I had a nice stay and felt quite safe as a single woman traveling alone.

stayed at the Golden Horn Hotel in December 2008 and I can honestly say that the hotel is worth what you pay. First of all, the hotel has a great location close to everything, so you are within easy reach to the all touristic attractions. They have basically furnished, clean rooms, comfortable enough to let you have a good night sleep. I have to accept the breakfast was basic, but there are several small shops to buy something to eat. Over all, Golden Horn Hotel is a nice place to stay with a limited bugdet.

Golden Horn sirkeci has 4 stars but from my point of view it should be 3, because you have evrything you need in room and breakfast included but the hotels facilities are old and the furniture looks somewhat old too. And there is only one tiny elevator that broke down one day and we had to walk the stairs on the fourth floor back and forth. There is no plazma TV in room, instead there is a small TV set. However, the rates were low and I guess you are gettign what you are paying for!

The Golden Horn hotel was far better than I expected. The lobby areas are beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, but not large. The restaurant serves a great breakfast. The staff was corteius- the desk clerk immediately took care of a discrepancy on my bill without question. Speacial thanks to Ms. Delek. Great location of the hotel. I will sure be back!

My wife and I spent 5 days in this hotel. The location was beautiful and convinient, but we werent satisfied with the customer service.
I always ran into the same woman, and she was not helpful. I asked her questions and she would just say she didn’t know. It’s weird when they’re the kinds of things she should know. Ob the positive note, we felt safe here and never had a problem with our room.

Golden Horn Sirkeci Hotel is an old fashioned, mid sized in a good central location. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean. The decor of the room was a bit strange, but the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The parking was superb, and I would recommend this hotel if you are having a short stay in the city and want somewhere convenient. It’s luxurious, but for the price it is great value for money, and we would definately stay again

Good value hotel in Sirkeci, for the price they offer. If you are looking for a clean room to stay in and a good location, this is a good choice. I stayed in many 3*-4* in Istanbul, but this is one of the better ones. The rooms are good size, I had a family room, and the bathroom was hugue! Breakfast is a no-frills one: juice-coffee-toast-jam, but you can eat as much as you like.

The location of the hotel is awesome close to eveytrhing lots of restaurants but the hotel is average, rooms are very basic, though cleaned to perfection but customer servie was bad!! The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking and they took foreevr to fix the problem, I asked to change the room but they said eveyrthing else was booked.
