Not bad at all. Clean, cozy rooms with beautiful view. Everyday cleaning. Breakfast is a little bit monotonous.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from the 12th of September to the 18th. We had a pleasant stay, but it wasn’t flawless. We had to switch the room when we found out the air conditoner didn’t work in the first room. The second room was better. I think it is a pretty nice hotel in terms of the location, but it could be maintained better.

Our room was a little better than the one our friends got but it was still just as dark and stuffy, and a/c didn’t work we had to open the window to comfortably stay in. The front desk staff was rather nice but there was not much that they could do when we reported the a/c was out of order.

This hotel has everything and the price is very reasonable. My husband and I loved the breakfast and workout room. Also, since they had free high speed, I was able to catch-up on emails. The best thing, however, was the service that we received. So can’t really complain about anythign but the noise fro mthe street this location is not quiet at all as we are seniors we would prefer a quiet location but that’s not the hotels fault

Stayed here on business, the hotel was ok but the price was too high, I think you can find cheaper deals in the area for similar hotels cause ther are plenty of them here. We had a room that was extrmeley small and was pretty dark, if u ever stay here specify you need a larger room otherwise u would be assigned a room like that

Stayed here in the beginning of March This is the best hotel we have stayed in istanbul . They staff was excellent and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with choise items and good selection. Location is good to tram stop for local travel and sightseeing along with tall the stores and shopping centers a few blooks away. Though room was not large, we had a double room, beds were very soft.

I travel all over the worls but this was my first visit to istanbul. I chose the grand star Hotel because of the on site amenities and the location in taxim . What a great choice this was...the rate was well worth what you get.Clean rooms, nice restaurant, and one of the nicest staffs I have ever experienced. I know there are higher end hotels in city with a much higher price, but I will not stay anywhere else but at the Grand Star because the value for the price is amazing.

Grand Star is generally a nice hotel, but being in Istanbul heir competition is tough, need to step up with the rooms. But our room was no better than the standard rooms that we’ve had at other hotels, quite disappointing. Service was fine, the biggest point that the Hilton has a great location.

Wonderful large room with a nice bathroom, wonderful staff in every way. Breakfast was awesome, and the service was great. Receprionsists do everything to make u fee lwelcome. And on top of that, location is just awesome and the whole atmosphere of hostorical Istanbul and great architecturem loved it

Grand Star is right next to Taksim square, great location, but the gym is a farce!! The staff is friendly but not very knowledgable about the location cause asked a question and didn’t get an answer to it!!

I just got back from staying at this hotel. I travel for my job and I have never been to Istanbul before. The service at the hotel was great and I have no problems with them at all. The shuttle from turkey TPS was great because after a long day flight I was able to take the shuttle to the hotel and not have to worry about looking for taxi. I will stay at this hotel the next time I’m in city.

Grand Star Hotel was okay, we booked it through this web-site. We got a great rate, however, the room was not the cleanest, there was black mold on the walls in the bathroom, as well as the floor. I was afraid to step on the floor barefoot. Other than that, great location, good breakfast.

rand Star hotel’s room was nice. Location was good in regards to the attractions we visited. Only drawback was that we arrived earlier than scheduled and still were not able to check-in until after 3:00.

though this hotel is marked as 4 stars, I’d say it’s below 4 stars. Terrific location with the bars and clubs and lots of places to eat just steps away but the hotel itself is not nice, poor breakfast and poor service, the room was stinky. Also, our room was on the second floor and I must say there is no sound isolation from the neighboring rooms.
