Gulhanepark Hotel [S-class]  

my girl friend and i were in istanbul about one week ago and we stayed in gulhanepark hotel realy it was a great room and it was so comfortable with great breakfast and a grea view of the bosphors and gulhane park thanks for mr. kamal

The Gulhanepark hotel had everything I needed for my stay. The room I got was clean and of a good size, with a minibar, a/c, hair-dryer. Only front desk service was not great, not so kind to customers.

I was glad when I was able to get a room at this hotel. I had heard really good things about this hotel from my friends who stayed here before. Unfortunately, I did have a problem with my room. My TV didn’t work and it turned out something was wrong with the wire. I found it out when I already moved in the room. This was not a big deal cause they sent a person and he fixed it but still I don’t understand why they don’t check the rooms before the guests arrival.

I had stayed in Gulhane Park Hotel about a month ago with a bad experience of a stay. My room was not very clean, TV was fuzzy and the bed was a small size for me. The internet service was excellent.

My girlfreind and I visited Istanbul in February 2009. The Gulhneparc Hotel itself is beautiful. It’s also close to
Blue mosque, saint Sophia, topkapi paace, grand bazaar. Professioanl staff, restaurant, internet in public areas. Also we were offered a free transfer to the airport. We don’t mind spending money for a taxi cab :) but it was just so convinient. Also, we liked that it was very quiet and clean. Our only complaints are that we thought our room was pretty small.

We stayed at the Gulhanepark for 11 days in March. The hotel overall is very attractive, retsurant was very nicely decorated. The food overall was o.k. Hotel is close to the heart of the city. I have to say, that the best thing about staying at the Gulhanepark is that they have the most wonderful staff! I would recommend thi hotel to anyone.

Nice location, nice hotel. Food average. Old town is very pretty and going sightseeing was good.

The hotel has a gorgeous setting WOW! within a walking distance to main Istanbul attractions. The rooms very very pretty and spotless.
They serve a great breakfast, the choice is versatile and the food was good. The staff were very friendly and I’d like to say big thanks to the receptionist who helped us get around Istanbul. He is a great asset to this hotel!!!! we had an excellent holiday!!

The rate was more than what we budget for however we stil decided to book this hotel. Upon our arrival the Receptionist was so welcoming. She accompany us to our room. \The room was Great!! It was quite comfortable, clean but we didn’t have a nice view. Hotel is right in the center of old Istanbul. Rich breakfast, internet in public areas. At the end of our stay, we really didn’t want to leave, we had such a good time but we had to fly to Germany. Thanks Gulhanepark Hotel for a great stay!!!

Reading some of the other reviews, they must have been at another hotel. The Gulhanepark is certainly a very comfortable place to live!
When I first arrived in Istanbul, I stayed at the Gulhanepark for two very happy, weeks! The dining was superb during my stay and the hospitality of the front desk staff, the maids and the management, were beyond any I had experienced previously! It’s a nice and clean hotel. It was very convinien that they provided a transfer to the airpot. I got a room for one with a big bed.

I visited Istanbul recently for the first time and stayed at this hotel which was recommended by friends. I was not disappointed. The hotel is recently built. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast service and the pool side was nice and the landscape beautiful. Front desk clerk who helped me out with finding the resturant in the area to have a dinner around was extremely polite and knowledgable, he also helped a lot with the booking of the trip to Bosporus and getting around, suggested places to go to. I had a great stay at Gulhanepark hotel.

The Gulhanepark hotel was far better than I expected. The lobby areas are beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, but not large. The restaurant serves a great breakfast. The staff was corteius- the desk clerk immediately took care of a discrepancy on my bill without question. Speacial thanks to turkeytps guide! Great location of the hotel. I will sure be back!

I have spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel.The staff open you with open arms treating you as one of the family.The decor is amazing, if you want something a bit different and intimate for your holiday then this is the place!The surroundings are beautiful, a short walk to Blue Mosque. Hotel staff was friendly especially the waiters in te restaurant. Speaking of dinner, the restaurant has a great selection of delicious dishes.I would like to go back and i would reccomend it to anyone! I thought the booklets in the lobby were funny, written in broken English :)

Stayed two nights. Great location.We were impressed by the ambience of the place from the moment we walked into the lobby. How refreshing to find a lovely old building UNSPOILED by modern embellishments. I can understand people used to modern hotel chains disagreeing with me but this reminded me of ancient times and I wish I have stayed here longer. The hosts are charming and we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant is also excellent. I have recommended it to all my friends. We had a deluxe room, I thought ut was sort of a small size, didn’t have room enough to put our luggage.

Last motnh I have spent a happy weekend at the Gulhanepark Hotel. Really, if you want to stay in Istanbul, you should book there. We have never felt less than welcomme, the beds are extremely cozy, and the restaurant welcoming..Very professianl staff, special thanks to housekeeping team..

The hotel is well situated near old part of the city and the rooms were clean the breakfast was good, the view excellnt. Bu t the room was very small, and our closet was not very spacious enough to keep the luggage. Also, they had a group staying over and it was VERY noisy.
