I rang in the New Year 2010 at the hotel. I liked the hotel a lot. I wonder what did those who weren’t satisfied miss for breakfast? Was there missing the regular food that people like to eat for breakfast??! I think they had all the tastes covered. The rest was really great for us too –perfect location, service, cleanliness. Daily room cleaning with changing of linens. It was pretty comfortable for two people in the room, the second room we got was single, nearby. It’s stupid to expect the hotel employees speak German. What I really like about Turks is that they are very capable of learning new languages. Every salesman in any store can speak some English. In general, I highly recommend this hotel, we liked it.

Nice place, pretty clean with nice surroundings but nothing superb. Breakfast was lower than average in comparison with other Istanbul hotels were I stayed before. Also, I don’t agree that the rate was right for this hotel.

Returned from a week at Lady Diana Hotel from 10th-17th March. Location can’t be beat right in old city and near Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Gramd Bazaar etc. Asked for directions from check-in lady but she wasn’t quite knowledgable. Room very clean with safe, minibar and LCD tv. No problems with noise and we paid less than last time in Isatnbul at a similar hotel.

For me personally the most important thing I was looking for was the hotels convinient location. Lady Diana Hotel ha sa perfect location, you can’t tell me noting. Besides, they picked us up from the airport for FREE and when we entered our room there was an amazing view. Our room was pretty small but acceptable. Free breakfast was not so good though but I guess that’s what you get when it’s included in the price, just basics. Overall. not a bad place to be.

We stayed here in the beginning of March. Chose this hotel based on friends advice and the closiness to the old city center, but it was not a perfect place to stay for the money we paid. Rooms were tiny and we couldn’t be relocated becasue the hotel was sold out. A/C in our room didn’t realy work properly, to top it all it was too noisy. This hotel is okay for a one night stay if you are looking for a bed to sleep but not a stay over as there are better hotels in the area.

My husband and I just returned from three days at the Lady Diana Hotel and Istanbul is beautiful, I must say. From the beautiful suite room to the restaurant. Everyone was pleasant, the room was clean and neat - yes the mattresses seemed a bit "old" but it was comfortable. But it was a great time and we would go back in a minute.

It was a good place to stay. Manager was very nice, which i can’t say for the front desk clerk. I booked the room on turkey tps and got an extremely good rate. The staff was great. The room was nicely furnished, the beds comfortable, and the rooms relatively quiet. The location was great -short nice walk to the Worldwide famous sights like Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Gramd Bazaar, Spice Bazaar and great resturants! Good place to stay in sultan ahmet.

Lady Diana Hotel is not just a hotel, it’s homey, not too big. We stayed here on the first and last nights of our ten day trip through beautiful Turkey and loved the comfortable beds, big rooms. Quiet, clean. Breakfast was great - something for everyone. A pleasant walk to the historic secttion of old city. Staff recommended nice retsaurans not far away from the hotel. Good stay.

Stayed at the Lady Diana Hotel on arrival in Istanbul at the end of March 09. It’s an average hotel but our experience was good. Yes, you could hear noise from street but that’s what you get when you stay minutes away from the busy area. Room was clean and spacious with all the facilities you need after a long flight. Unfortunately the TV didn’t have all the channels it promised, mostly Turkish channels but that’s a minor complaint! Breakfast was great! Would recommend the hotel for those looking for everyone travelling yo Istanbul.

Our family stayed here for five days and really had a good time. The view of Marmara Sea from roof terrace was just amazing. The rooms were nice for us. We really saved on breakfast ! Also one night we even used the suana and turkish bath. I think the rooms need some updating and they could have been cleaner. All in all we had a very nice affordable family vacation.

The hotel location was perfect in historic district of sultanahmet with shops and places to eat around the corner. The staff who greeted us were very friendly and all staff we came into contact with during our 3 night stay were polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble in their eyes. We only ate breakfast food at the hotel one morning, choosing to sleep in the mornings and eat at local restaurants instead. The hotel rooms did not disappoint and were cleaned daily. Our room was beautiful and very relaxing to be in. Yes the hotel is a little bit more expensive than others but a fantastic experience and well worth visiting.

I loved the location of the Lady Diana Hotel, but everything else needs improvement! Breakfast very poor, nothing more than oatmeal, cereals, fresh fruits and coffee. Rooms not maintained very well and looks like the hotel was built a good while ago. Staff not helpful, didn’t offer their help for our luggage until I told them.

Folks, if you want a 4 star hotel for a 3 star price, this is just that. I used this web-site to book it and got a good deal on the rate. I was scarred at first at what I would be getting, but I was very happy. The beds were wonderful although the night life was a distance away. We took full advantage of the free breakfast. The shuttle was for free and it brought us was right outside our hotel lobby. It rained the one day we were there. Thank you turkey tps for a great experience. I will definately think of you when I need to book another hotel.

Lady Diana is located in a great location in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. You can walk everywhere. Service was very slow, no smiles. After a long flight all you want is a good sleep and a good room. But no! When they checked me in in a room, I had to change it cause I figured out the AC was broken. They offered me another room upon my first complaint (I think they knew that AC was broken there), but it was pretty inconvinient to move our stuff into another room since we had too much luggage.

We stayed 3 nights midweek at the start of March 2009 and were pleasently surprised by the Lady Diana hotel. On arrival we were allocated a
suite room (the hotel seems to be recently built). The room was quite spacious with a pretty wide bed. It had a nice bathroom. We were pretty pleased. The room was a little dark for our liking, but was very private. The next morning we heard a fair amount of noise from the neighbouring room and could hear footsteps from the room above, but the staff on reception were very helpful and found us an alternative room without question. We ended up being moved to a lovely suite room, which was fairly peaceful. We were impressed. The staff at reception were very helpful.

Though Lady Diana Hotel was right in the heart of Istanbul, it was not as nice as I expected. We stayed in a double bedded room and I was surprised how small it was, considering it’s a room for two. The beds weren’t very comfortable, I couldn’t sleep well. I need it to be quiet in the hotel for a pleasant stay, but it was very noisy, employyees talking loudly in the hallways in the mornings. I plan on staying in a different property next time.

The hotel is new, modern and equipped with all possible sensors. There is also hair drier! A wonderful restaurant and a terrace with marvelous views. The breakfast differs every day on the terrace. Hammam is made very professionally. 5 minutes walk from the main places of interest and restaurants. I would like to visit it again!

I had single room in this hotel. I expected it to be smaller, but it was quite big. And what I want to mention is the price of the hotel, which 100% fits its quality. It is better to book 1 or 2 month in advance, because the hotel I very popular, so most probably you won’t be able to find a room if you make booking last minute. Recommend!!! :)

I and my husband lived in Lady Diana 4 days in October 2008. First impression was like the hotel belongs to 5 star category. Huge Lobby, clean and probably newly restored rooms, really nice view from the terrace, where we had our breakfast. All architect buildings of Old City are in 5-10 minutes from the hotel by foot. We suggest reserving a room on the upper floor to have a good sight, especially on nights.
