This hotel should not be 4 stars but 3 since it doesn’t have a fitnes room and breakfats wasn’t as great as I expected. It si nice and clean but this is hotel is only good for business trips, but fyo uare looking for more fun and more things todo in hotel than it is not the right place.

My husband and I stayed at Richmond for vacations 09/15 - 09/21. Room was okay but could be cleaner. Good internet service. Beds were very uncomfortable and our room had a stale smell.

We loved our stay at the Richmond Hotel Some will say there is no sauna or wellness center but I can tell you that it more than makes up for that in price as well as convenience. The breakfast is an excellent start to kick off the day. The bar is a great way to meet others. I hope to return again.

I have already had a pleasure to saty in some 4 star hotels in Istanbul and I can say this one was no way worse and some things were even better, like the decor of the room is very modern and furniture looks prett ynew. Breakfats was not great but it was acceptable. I would not mind stayign again.

First of all the area is beautiful, most tourists attractions in walking distance. The staff was excellent. One of my friends got sick and the front desk clerk helped him find a doctor and the staff was checking on him when the rest of us went on a ightseeing tour in Istanbul. In addition to that hotel is really very nice and rooms are spotlessly clean and modern.

We stayed at Richmond Hotel from 07/02 till 07/08. This hotel has a perfect location and is very close
to tunel, and taksim square. We had a executive room with a view at bosporus, it was clean and very modern. Staff was nice too. However we made a coupel of phone calls and were charged a lot, I didn’t expect it would be so expensive.

Great locations, many restaurants nearby (you should try Markis Patisserie!), also entertainment centers. I think it’s a good hotel howeevr as someone already mentioned before they don’t have a sauna while most of 4 star hotels do. If you’re looking for a hotel with sauna and spa that you should be aware of it as you may think that it’s a four star hotel and it probably has everything, but it doesn’t. But in geberal the hote lloooks nce and we had a nice room and were satisfied with the serive. It’s just that there are not so many things to do I nghote lfor relaxation except for sittign in bar and drinking.

Breakfast was terrific and it was available until 10 am, lots of food, including hot food for breakfats. Hotel has a bar (but it’s not cheap), and a wonderful roof terrace, and it’s secured by security guards. We loved the area, hotel is located on famous Istiklela Street and is very close to tunel. We staye din executive room and foubnd it very pretty, however it was rather small. Breakfast was not as great as we thought. Also, it is a four star hotel but it doesn’t have a fitness room and a turkish bath as many hotels do, which is why I was kind of disappointed.

It was the first time we stayed at Richmond Hotel in Istanbul and we liked it. Had a deluxe room and it was very large with a nice bathroom, the only downside was the noise from cars in the parking lot as our room was close. We had a fantastic breakfast and it had more choices than the hotel where we staye dbefore (which was also 4 star, but Richmond makes the difference). They served yougurts and wide variety of cheeses, fruits. I also liked the hotels location, as we could get anywhere on foot.

We stayed here for 4 nights. While this hotel is located right in the center of Taksim, it was pretty quiet when we were there. Room OK, matress was old. Staff friendly but doesn’t speak English very well. Breakfast didn’t have a good variety of food.

All I can it’s superb, very luxurious. I was very happy with the service and the hotel in general. It is very clean and they do have large rooms. My kids loved the breakfast in Richmond hotel, many choices and a variety of good food. Hotels location just couldn’t be betetr, it’s right on Istiklela Street and you can easily walk everyhwere, You can even get to galata tower on foot. I recommend it.

I have never been to Istanbul before and this was my first trip. I was really fascinated with the city, but not the hotel. It was pretty loud in the hotel though our room was set back far enough to almost be in the end of the hall. Our room was overlooking the street, looked clean but didn’t smell fresh. The carpets and furniture need replacement.
