we are just back from four day stay at the star holiday hotel. this was our fourth time in istanbul and this is without doubt a very decent and budget hotel we stayed in. the hotel is spotless and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day. the rooms contained everything one needed including a mini bar. the hotel is perfectly situated in a quite street and is in short walk to old city gems like Blue Mosque and the rest. there is a good local bakery around corner and local shop for drinks and such.

well i didn’t expect fancy room for the price i paid, it is cheap accomodation indeed. Being in the center of Istanbul, Star Holiday offers quick and easy access to center of old city which is very convivient if you are here for the cites. Breakfats was eatable, but of course it could be better but come on it’s only 40 bucks per room !!! You want to go to Istanbul? You want to be in downtown? But you don’t have much money? Book Star Holiday!

We booked a one night stay at this Hotel for a stopever in Istanbul. It was wonderful. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean - like the rest of the hotel - clean and welcoming. Everything had been thought about carefully and it showed. I’d recomend this hotel to anyone! It was also situated just in center of old city and near shopping area and so was convenient for everything

The Star Holiday Hotel is an average hotel, but good for the price. The location is great--centrally located but on a quieter street so there’s not much noise. The rooms were comfy and spotless. I loved this hotel and will definitely stay there again the next time I’m in Istanbul.

My wife and I just loved this hotel, it was a great deal since w eare on a budget. The staff, location were all fantastic. We had a standrart room which was perfect. We felt really comfortable in this hotel. It is in a lovely quiet street but so close to lots of tourist icons. Staff gave us great sightseeing advice. This saved us heaps of time. They also booked us into a restaurant and managed to get us a table (great restaurant, good views, great atmosphere). We definitely want to stay at this hotel again - we miss it already!

This is just a short review to say how fantastic the Star Holiday Hotel is!S tayed for three nights with my soon. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff. The room was large and spacious and the bathroom was superb. Breakfast every morning at no extra cost was a great touch. Very clean, modern and the staff polite, friendly and professional.About 5 minutes walk from the main touristsic places ,super location!

Ok I agree it’s not like a fancy place but the rate is more than just cheap for a city like Istanbul which i think is pretty expensive city. but probably like anywhere in the world with top tourists destination you would expect it. Hotel is clean though, centrally located. Breakfats included, transfer included. We were able t ohave a great time on a budget! Thanks Turkeytps!!

Star Holiday was not so bad but this is not the best 3 star hotel I stayed at. Room was not bad (even had a nice view without having to pay for it) but AC stopped working!! They had leftovers for breakfast in the morning! Terrific area, couldn’t be better. Management needs to take a better care of it.

Good deal, Star Holiday Hotel is a really good option for those who are on a budget, it offers great location, free food (breakfast), and all the basic hotel amenttities. Besides, I met a lot of cool folks in this hotel. I prefer saving money on accomodation and spending more on sightseeing. I visited more plces than I planned and it was just great. While the rate was not expensive, I liked that this place was clean.

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel in August. I couldn’t believe how small our room was. Amentities are satisfactory, air conditioning system didn’t work very well. The hotel looks much better on the pictures than in reality.

Spent 3 days at the Star Holiday Hotel and loved it from the minute we arrived.
It is a lovely place - really well decorated. The staff were really friendly, much more so than at other hotels i have stayed in even though this hote lwas so much cheaper. The rooms (we stayed in a standart room which is their regular one) were lovely. Yes they are small but no more so than other Istanbul hotels and the location more than makes up for anything. The rooms had every comfort you could need and the bathrooms especially were great. They also have a bar which I heard was good, i didn’t try itbut if I go back i will definately try it!

I liked this hotel when we entered the lobby. But when we got into our room, everything looked outdated!! Old a/c, old hair-dryer! Faded surtains! I did like the location of this hotel very much, but the room was not worth the money.

True story, very cheap! I’d say very affordable =)) Basic room but had everything we needed, we wren’y looking for luxurious hotel. Stayed here for 3 nites and i’ll keep this hotel in mind next time we go to istanbul. Breakfats was ok and a guide from turkey tps met us in the airport, which was really cool, we were so tired and couldn’t wait to get to the room. I would like to say thank you and until next time!!

My friend and I stayed at Star Holiday Hotel for a week. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Small dirty rooms, beds with bedbugs and staff with no manners!! I was willing to save and chose this cheap hotel hoping it would not be so bad but I was wrong. Location is really the only great thing about Star Holiday!!
