Sude Konak Hotel [S-class]  

My family and I ( My wife and 2 y/o daughter) stayed there for 7 nights in March. Although the room seemed a little small, but we spent all day sightseeing and taking the advantage of being in a hotel that was within a walking distance to some of the historical sites and to a very close by tram station which allowed us to travel all over the city and do lots of other fun stuff. Yes, there were occasions that the noise from the street or the room next door would bother us in the middle of night, but the advantages of the hotel overweight the disadvantages. The gorgeous view you have when having your free and wonderful breakfast, the very friendly and kind staff and personnel (specially the front desk) who were able to communicate very well in English and help us with all of our questions. This is an average hotel. The rooms are in fair condition, but the housekeeping service needs improvement. Our bathroom was lacking toiletries, be sure to bring your own lol! Sirkeci area is the best spot, with lots of stores for shopping. They also have a turkish bath and wellness center. The staff was friendly.

We’ve stayed at Sude Konak in the end of March and we enjoyed it. The lobby was wide and spacious , so was the room. We only had one problem with the slight musty smell from air conditioning for a couple of days. The staff was wonderful and the owene rof the hotel was sweet. Our family stayed for 4 days but we would definitely stay longer if we could! Nice hotel. I reccomend it!

Got a really good rate at this website. Very nice hotel. Convenient location (!!!), right near shops and restaurants. We had an easy check-in, front desk attendants were very pleasant. Quite small, but clean room but not enough lighting. Breakfats OK, not great, but OK. But I would still stay here again because the location of Sude Konak Hotel s just perfect for sightseeing! We had a fun time in Istanbl!!

We had to change the room as we weren’t satisfied with our room, it was in the back of the hotel and was pretty dark, with a small window. The room wa svery small and there was almost no free space to move around for us. And yes, the hotel is pretty noisy, as it is next to the street. Brekafats wa sdecent but I honestly think that this hotel is a good choice for staying ove rnight but if you came to istanbul for a week you want a more luxurious hotel to stay at!

I have stayed here before and therefore chose to stay again and I wasn’t disappointed. Good hotel, great food and exceptional customer service. Our room had a very nice design and the bed was very comfortable. I think this hotel is a great value if you are on a budget as it had everything you need and breakfats is included. I have already recoomended this hote to my friends who are going in IStanbul soon.

People who wrote bad reviews must have stayed at a totally different hotel, because I personally didn’t have any prob;em with the noise or anything nliek that. I had a very pleasant stay and I think Sude Konak is amazing for the price and location. Breakfats was included and it was great, I have to say. Staff was very kind, and very helpful and I couldn’t blame them for anything. Great spot!

The hotel is very average, don’t expect any luxury. The best thing about it was the location. The major sightseeng places are basically a walk away! Sude Konak Hotel has a nice terrace retsaurant, we went there a coupel of times, however breakfast was not as good as food served at terrace retsaurant.

My friend and I spent a week at Sude Konak. I thought the hotels location was great, in the center of old city, in walking distance to Blue Mosque ans othe rplaces! I liked the hotel and the personnel was great, always smiling, always helpful. We also got a chance t meet the owner of the hotel who turned out to be a very lovely person! The staff from the desk helped us book a tour around Istanbul and we had a great time, I reccommend this hotel to everyone!

The hotel is not bad, really close to such places as Topkapi and Bluw Mosk. But I didn’t like that our room was facing the street and it was pretty noisy, besides the noise from neighboring rooms was very audible, we cheked out our friends’ room but the y had the samew problem. The staff was polite but not very willing to do their job, as I sked for direction and the guy said that he doesn’t know. Ok, but he could have bother to ask someone from other staff.

I agree this hotel is not "heaven" but i think it was OK for the price. We had to change the room but I was glad we got a better room instead of the one we got first. The first one was very very tiny and we didn’t like it, as we were two of us. The seconf room we got was much bigger. We also had a free breakfast, it was not very plentiful but okay for us. It was also a little noisy as the hotel is situated along the busy street.

We stayed here for 4 days. I wouldn’t be a fan of this hotel as it was more like a motel, less like a traditional 4 star hotel. The price is okay, and there was nothing wrong with the hotel, but a 3 star hotel should not be labelled as 4 star in my opinion.

Good location, clean, friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms. I stayed for two nights only (over the weekend) and the hotel was a great value for me as I didn’t plan on spending more than 80-90 bucks per room, I booked this hotel because I liked its location and I was looking for a hotel that offers free breakfast. Next time I stay in Istanbul, I’ll book Sude Konak again. Thanks for everything =)

I think this hotel is fine for travellers only. If you plan on taking your wife to a nice hotel try somewhere else. The bathrooms were not well cleaned, holes in the wall, and also had a smell in my room. They said it was nice, I don’t think so!
