Sultanhan Hotel is opened now in the heart of Istanbul’s historical part in Sultanahmet and possess high rank among the most brilliant hotels of Turkey. The building is used to be government house and restored as a “Boutique Hotel”.Impressive large lobby around 400 m2 and 5.00 meters high ceiling. Lobby is decorated with Ottoman Empire style textiles and 150 years old original historical wooden pieces.
Cozy, comfortable and soundproof room. But, the most improtant thing is that it is very and very large and equipped with minibar, direct telephone, hair dryer, wireless internet access etc.

I stayed here with my husband. We had to ask to be moved to another room cause in the first one the a/c was out of order...you’d think you wouldn’t expect that in a 4 star hotel eh? the second room was much better. Breakfast included in the rate was one day good, another day not so good..Not bad hotel in general, but definitely overpriced..

We spent 4 nights at this place. Staff helpful and the hotel room met my requirements. Some downsides: breakfast menu needs improvement cause this breakfast didn’t differ from a 3 star hotel’s breakfast choices. Also, the rooms didn’t seem to be big enough for two.

If you need a luxurious hotel , this is not the place. Clean, with free breakfast, quiet but not very fancy. The room did have some problems, like window doesn’t open and noisy a/c but other than that it was okay.

I was recently staying at Sultanhan Hotel and I liked it . Eevrything was perfect except for some crazy guests they had next door to our room. They were very noicy, I was pissed but luckily they left very soon. Hotel has a good location and serves good breakfast. Staff at the front desk was more than helpful. They even helped us book the tour. Good place to stay but expensive, as there are many other cheaper hotels in Sultanhamet area.

Gorgeous hotel with excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were outstanding with classy decor and spacious bathrooms. The view from the room was nice.The hotel had a restaurant and although we didn’t eat there , I loved the breakfast that was for free. The choice of food was amazing and had something for everyone.The hotel had many facilities including a sauna and turkish bath, cleaning services I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who loves a luxurious hotel in a fantastic location with service which is simply the best! After a long journey from Greece, we were pleased to meet TurkeyTPS guide who was waiting for us at the airport to meet us and give us a ride to the hotel. The room was great and the staff polite and helpful. public transport in Istanbul seemed to be excellent and we took trams to and from the hotel to see different parts of the city. Great hotel location and staff. Hope to spend longer in Istanbul in the future as it appears to have more than I imagined.

Unfotunately we only stayed here two nights, our view from the hotel window wasn’t very good, but we weren’t in the hotel long enough to let it worry us. Overall, the hotel was magnificent. We used the sauna and truly relaxed. The bar was nice, if a bit pricey, but the staff were so polite and attentive - you get what you pay for.

we had a super spring break in Istanbul. Beautiful city! And I’m very glad we made the right choice with the hotel to stay at. Sultanhan was nothing but great experience. The staff from this hotel deserves the ebst compliments as they are very profesisonal. Breakfats was just a great srat of the day for us. Location - terrific. Highly recommend it!!

Loved the room. location, staff. Didn’t like: the breakfast (it was very basic in my opinion), the rate was too high. But overall, we had a good time and if this hotel improves the breakfast, I’d give it 5 stars!!

Rooms were both clean and comfy. We had no interruptions the entire time we stayed. Wasn’t rushed. Nice old fashioned decor. Old town center is very close, a walk away from the sights. Good place for relaxation and sightseeing. The only downside was the restaurant menu, I thought it was very limited.

My husband and I stayed at Sultanhan Hotel from March 18 till March 21. The room was comfortable and clean. The best bed I’ve ever slept in and the room smelled clean and fresh. WE also liked the breakfast, though it wasn’t too different from what we had in another (cheaper) Istanbul hotel, but it was good. Tried both turlish bath and sauna, both great for relaxation. Staff was polite and I would highly recommend staying here.

This is such a nice hotel with very well furnished rooms. But, no pool :( Nevertheless, I had a great stay, liked everything, tasty breakfats, excellent service, friendly staff. And having a sauna was a definite plus!! If I ever get a chance to be bck to Istanbul, I would love to stay at Sultanhan Hotel again!

The Sultanhan hotel was very nice. The rooms were quite spacious. It was wonderful having a wi-fi internet, sauna, turkish bath - being on vacation, this was exactly what we needed. The only problem was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but I could live with that =) We had a fantastic stay and it was worth every cent! =) Will cme back gaain!

Sultanhan was a very clean hotel, with very comfortable rooms, good service. We had a very enjoyable stay, the only problem was the smoky smell in our room, nt sure why, though it didn’t bother me much. And the closiness to the old city center was very convinient. We would love to stay again!
