Did you know...
…Istanbul is a town where a man got off the ground for the first time ever! Medieval chronicles fixed that there was a certain Ahmed Celebi who constructed wings from thin wood, went up to Galata Tower (61 m. high) and jumped down. Soaring on the wings he hopped Bosporus. However this didn’t bring money to Celebi. He was considered to be a sorcerer and was sent to Algeria.

Stayed here with my wife. We enjoyed Istanbul. Good area, but outdated hotel. Our room looked like we had gone back in time. As for the breakfast, expect it to be very plain. One more thing, we’d appreciate if the room was bigger.

There is not much special about this hotel. Good rate but poor customer service (hotels staff doesn’t speak English very well and is not very responsive to customers complaints). They do try to keep the hotel clean, but I noticed that some things in room and in the hotel were in need of replacement.

I stayed there for 5 nights and didn’t encounter any problems. I found the staff polite and helpful. Yes there are cheaper hotels in Sultanahmet but consider this hotels excellent service, good free breakfast, free internet.. If I ever go back to Istanbul I would most likely stay here due to the location and the cost.

Nice hotel, good service, real four-star. The bed was comfortable and clean, the room was lovely and I found the staff very welcoming. The front desk attendant was particularly good humoured, and his smile seemed very genuine. We just enjoyed the breakfast at Tria. And for the money we paid I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

If you want to explore Istanbul then this hotel is just right cause it’s in Sultanahmet. You dont have to worry about spending much time in your hotel because you won’t want have time to. You can not beat the location and good price of Tria hotel. I liked staying here because we were there to enjoy the city and not spend much time in the hotel. However, our room was clean and I don’t have any complaints about it.

Tria Hotel is in the best area of Istanbul - all said!!!! Shopping, sights, restaurants at the hotels doorstep!! My friends and I had a good stay at Tria and we are actuallyy planning on coming back! Breakfast was delicious and the staff was the kindest I’ve encountered for the last couple years of travelling and staying in hotels. Room was nice, we had a small problem with the AC but it doesn’t count!=) We had a nice stay! Thank you all!!

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at Tria in Istanbul during our trip to Turkey. Our room was very clean, and the sheets and towels were very soft, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. None of us experienced any problems with anything ,everything worked properly. They serve an amazing breafast in the morning which is included in the rate. The location of Tria is perfect for sighhteesing and exploring the city. We would love to be back!

We were a party of four staying in two rooms 16-22 March 2009. Reservations were made online from Italy thru turkeytps.com. No problems checking in. The staff is friendly, probably unless you act as if you expected a five star hotel lol One of the assigned rooms was not made up (we arrived early), and another assigned immediately. In one room the toilet wouldn’t flush; but it was fixed the same afternoon. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Good location. Great city.

We stayed at Tria Hotel for 3 nights in the end of March. Our room was nice, the only thing that our room carpet was not the cleanest, but we had a clean bathroom, clean towels, clean sheets, and a great view of Istanbul! We had no bedbug bites and did not come in contact with rodents. We enjoyed our stay and felt the area was safe for us to walk. I would have no doubt about staying here again. I hope that when we have the chance to come back to Istanbul the Tria Hotel is still available! Thanks, Tria Hotel and turkeyTPS for helping to make our travel to Istanbul one of the best vacations we will ever remember!

Tria Hotel is nothing more than a 3 star hotel I think. Small rooms with an outdated decor. However, this hotel gets many guests so be aware that it’s never relaxing here, too many people, and too noisy. Also, the property is old.

If you are on a limited budget, you should try the Tria Hotel. It is in the center of everything.. . They have brekafast in the restaurant but if you want to eat out restaurants are all around the area. There is free wireless internet access in the lobby and in rooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is maid service every day and it’s very clean. The hotel located in a quiet area and I liked it cause I actually don’t like being bothered. My son and I stayed 5 days.
