When we booked this hotel, we were attracted by the close proximity to the sights. I’d say this hotel was fine, two things that I was not happy with that we got a small room, and didn’t have a bathtub, only shower. Other than it was very nice staying here and the location was just great.

When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly front desk person, check-in was so fast, the next moment we were in our room. Room was clean but small and some features were old (like shabby furniture), bathroom looking much worse than most hotels in this category (water stains on ceiling). Buffet style breakfast in the morning had a good selection of food though. Too much noise in the hotel. Worse than my expectations.

My girl and I had a pelasant time at Uyan Hotel. The room had everything we needm even an iron and an ironing board, minibar, sattelite TV, desk.. We also had a balcony but from what I saw not every room has a balcony at this hotel so you had to request it. Breakfast was included and had many choices, we were satisfied with it. I had a trouble sleeping for two nights as we had very noisy neighbors staying in the room close to ours but luckily these crazy people left soon. The rest was fine.

I was pleased with the decor and cleanliness of the hotel. I was comfortable staying here as the hotel is in Sultanhamet and I would stay again. The only minor problem I had was due to the reason that our room was close to the elevator and I could hear the noise from the elevator, but it wasn’t too bad.

Uyan Hotel was a nice and clean, quiet hotel that met my expectations. For the money I paid I was actually extremely happy with everything in the hotel. It was also very convinient to have a free pick up from the airport since we had a long flight and were very tired. Uyan Hotel was a good choice for us and I wouldn’t mind staying in this hotel again if I ever happend to go to Istanbul again.

I really liked that the hotel was very secure and I felt very safe. Overal, my experience at this hotel was very favorable. Also, the bed was most comfortable. I especially liked the abundance of pillows (enough to prop comfortably in bed for work or TV watching). Very nice hotel lobby and other areas are also well maintained.

Our room was very clean and I liked the location. Uyan was a wonderful hotel and I would be very glad to stay in it again. We ate in the restaurant and I was very pleased to learn that they even had food for diabetics available. Breakfast was great. Also, it was very nice to have many stores for shopping located right next to the hotel.

I would stay at the Uyan hotel again. It is conveniently located in Sultanhamet area- the best area of the city in my opinion. From there it is easy to get anywhere in Istanbul. The accommodations were great. Than you turkeyTPS for all the arrangements and free transfer!

We were pleased with the location of the hotel and there was plenty of food for breakfast. While our stay was short (only two nights) we found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and accommodating. Our room was large, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We’d go to this hotel again! :)

Uyan Hotel was not cheap and I guess this is the reason I expected it to be more fancy. Carpet was well worn, outdated furnishings. Housekeeping cleaned every day, but they didn’t put any clean towels after the first day. The breakfast didn’t appear to be delicious at all.

This is a 4 star hotel with a 1 star service. The clerk who checked us out was just as unpleasant as the one who checked us in. The other employees who we came in contact with during our stay tried to make us book the tour with the company they advertised. Nice historical building but poor maintenance of the hotel and hotel facilities.
