The hotel has a na ideal location for exploring the great city of Istanbul but if you are looking for luqurious place this is not the place. The room and breqkfats were basic. The rooms were clean though.

The Vezir Hotel has got an outstanding location in the old town. You are within walking distance to all the major attracations. The double rooms are very small and our room didnt even have a chair in it. There are no shelves or any place to put or hang your things. The bathrooms are also very small. We read on the hotels webiste that there would be a coffee and tea maker in the room, also ironing facilities and a safe. None of that existed. The hotel has got 4 floors and no elevator! The first night we got a room on the third floor that had a window, but you couldnt see anything because the window was covered from the outside. It was also very noisy. We asked to change rooms. First the staff said there were no other vacant rooms, but then they changed their minds and gave us another room on the second floor with an ordinary window. That room was also much more quiet. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, but tolerable. The last day we were waiting for our shuttle to the airport and they were delayed. I then asked the receptionist to call the company and he did. Afterwards he demanded to be paid for the phonecall that lasted less than 30 seconds. Otherwise the staff were friendly. Do not use the hotels shuttle service. You can find a much cheaper service at the travel agency on a nearby street.If you are looking for a cheap hotel with a good location, the Vezir Hotel is the right place, but dont expect anything special and try to get a room on the first floor if you have any physical problems.

The hotel wqs lovely but the room could have been a little larger. The location not particularly good for people looking for relaxation caus eit is very vusy and noisy area of th ecity. On a positive nore, the rate was a bargain.

Well i can’t say i was impressed or something (been at better hotels before!) but i had a good stay, this is a hotel of an average qualitry, it is ok but not superb, like staff could have been more customer oriented, breakfast could have included more choices ...................

I was not satisfied with Vezir Hotel, 1) room wasn;t cleaned well 2 ) AC didn;t work preperly 3) fridge was dirty inside and had some food left fro mprevious guest!! but the price at Vezir , on a positive note the price at vezir was lower than at other hotels

I just returned from a one-day stay at the Vezir Hotelel. The room was comfortable and clean with a very welcome hot shower and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I had an early flight the next morning, making it necessary for me to leave at 4am for the airport, at which time the usual shuttlebus was not yet in service. The receptionist (Martin) called around and found me transportation, and also helped me figure out how to use the phone card I had bought at the airport. There was a wonderful cafe around the corner, and it was a comfortable walk to the Blue Mosque and other attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for single travellers like myself

My son and I went to Istanbul October 2008. First time in Istanbul. We used to taking the shuttle bec. we were flying but bus this time. We kinda at lost in the beginning bec. we don’t know where the streets are. But with the help of a nice man we found the street. The room is small but we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was nice and the staff were nice too. We enjoyed a lot.

Ovwrall recommendation percentage is 75%, hotel is good really small but they have a nice restaurant, dry clenainf, garden terrace. Close to main attractions. I just didn’t like the aatitude of one clerk at the desk who could have been more polite to me

My co-workers and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks. We all LOVED this hotel. The first week, my room was small/cozy (single bed) with all black furniture and grey walls. The flat screen tv and free wireless internet was a plus. The bathroom was nice...I think the floor was heated too. The second week, I got a bigger room (double room). The room was all white except for the furniture was black. I got room serve a few times. I did like what I tried in the retsaurant. Breakfast in the morning was good, staff friendly and helpful. The only complaint is busy parking, but I guess that is true in any big city.

Once you hit the desk you realize this is a class hotel with a great staff. We arrived early and our room was not ready so we went to the bar for a cup of coffee. In a half hour they told us they had a room for us and I truely believe they upgraded us to get us a room since I had heard of the small rooms and this one was of moderate size. We spent 5 nights there and got to know most of the staff. They even weighed our suitcases for us since we had been on a 17 day cruise prior to arrival and had heavy luggage. The room was clean, the shower great, the free minibar a nice touch. The location is great, a 2 minute walk from Aya Sophia, and 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone young or old, Enjoy Istanbul it is a great city

Stayed here in late December. Very small hotel and really well located. Very friendly staff and cool bar. Main downside are the rooms. Walls really are paper thin and can get very annoying if your stay more the one night. Still worth a visit as definitely very different.

Hotel’s staff at the front desk were polite and friendly. The lobby was just the way I like it, modern with clean lines. Very small hotel with 25 rooms. Great garden terrace. Nice a la carte restaurant. The room was clean and fairly roomy. The location isn’t terrible. There’s some construction nearby but it isn’t horrible. All in all, we had a good experience at the Vezir. Dion, Curitiba

Vezir Hotel is very well located near the historical area. Easy access to many cafes and stores. Near the shopping district and many landmarks. Easy access to transport. Take one of the nearby tours.

had my doubts about staying in this hotel after reading the review posted a few years ago stating that the place was a "nightmare’. I have been fortunate to travel the World and stay in every type of accomodation from very inadequate hostels to five star hotels. I would rate the Vezir Hotel as an average hotel for a very reasonable price. If you want to stay in a hotel which has ensuite facilities, air conditioning, good restaurant and very friendly receptionists then I would recommend this hotel. However if you demand a bit more luxury then please do not consider this Hotel. I always believe that you always get what you pay for, but in this case I got a little bit more than I expected. The Hotel is a minute walk to the sights so very reasonable.

I thought the Vezir Hotel was perfect. it was close to everything that i wanted to do. I was even more happy when i found out that there was a gay bar down the road. I love gays. I would recommend this hotel to any gay person (like myself) who is interested in finding that someone special.

Last time i went to Istanbul i stayed into the worst hotel i stayed in my life. So this time i checked very carefully the reviews and the photos and i decided to stay in Vezir Hotel in Sultahanhemt . What a perfect little hotel. I was happily surprised. Very, very clean. Towels changed every day. Large single room. Long & comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. The location is also excellent . Its close to everything. Next time i’ll be in Istanbul I’m staying in this hotel again.

I stayed in the Vezir Hotel for one night in November. It is in a perfect location right smack in the middle of Istanbul. The staff were efficent and friendly and the rooms were clean and pleasant. If you are plannig a tshort break this is an ideal place to stay. Overall was very happy with it.

We had a problem with the toilet that was overflown and they said there was no one to fix it at night and I asked to be moved into another room cause I couldn’t use the toilet!! It happened in the middle of the night. I was very angry cause had too much stuff to move but luckily the rest of our stay was very nice.

The location is fantastic. Perfect!! But I didn’t like the view of my room. Beds aren’t very comfortable, there was no top sheet!! And I put the “no disturb sign” on the handle of the door but the housekeeper still entered, I was very angry!!
