Fashion week in Istanbul

This event became one more proof of the fact that Istanbul can be named the trendsetter on the border of Europe and Asia. The latest edition of the festival “The days of fashion in Istanbul” which took place in 2010, opened a new page in the country’s history.

During the latest years Turkey gained the reputation of a reliable producer, the services of which are in demand among the famous brands of high level.

Besides the developed light industry Turkey is rich with talented designers, many of which, like for example Hussein Chalayan and Osman Yousefzada became world-famous stars. This is why for the creation of image in fashion sphere Turkey needs to announce its potential loudly, and attract attention to perspective Turkish brands and well-known names of fashion industry.

For the second time already Fashion week in Istanbul has gathered many guests from different countries, among which there were professionals of fashion industry and just amateurs of fashion. Due to such events as the Fashion week Istanbul is more and more often called the fashion capital of East and compared to European fashion centers by its level.

Istanbul fashion boutiques

The best boutiques of Istanbul are situated in Nisantasi district – in the local “Beverly Hills”. People come to the giant shopping-center “Kanyon” to get the collections of the famous international and Turkish brands.

The luxurious atmosphere of the boutique is strengthened with the interior with Ottoman motifs, including ancient furniture, made of precious kinds of wood and pictures, some of which are painted by the mistress herself. Yasemin sews her works from natural tissues and embellishes it with lots of details like elegant frills, lace and embroideries.
