Choosing a hotel

Preparing for the trip

If you are going to a modern city like Istanbul, to a comfortable hotel, there is no need to take to many things with you. Take only the necessary clothes – comfortable and suitable for the season. You don’t need to take for example, diapers, medicines and products – you will buy it all in local shops. For the rest near the water your baby will need inflatable toys – children love these toys and it will make them enjoy the rest at a swimming-pool for example. Children’s inflatable swimming-pool is a very useful thing – the water gets warm very quickly in it, and your baby can splash in his own mini-pool without the danger of drowning or catching cold. Don’t forget about the means of protection for your baby’s skin – different anti-sun creams and just moisturizing means that will be useful after the contact with water. Anti-mosquito means will also be useful for you, for example, a special cream or bracelet for children.

Nutrition

The issue of nutrition for your child gets especially relevant before the trip. In order to avoid problems with digestion you need first of all to take care of the quality of water that your child drinks. Even taking into consideration that the water in Istanbul is not bad, and it can be used in the boiled form, you should better bring some potable water with you for the first days of your stay. This is necessary for the baby not to have disordered stomach because of acclimatization and change of water. It would be even more desirable if you bought potable water of famous brands during all your stay in Istanbul and cook children’s food, using it. Don’t forget that fat, roast food, as well as exotic dainties, can injure delicate child’s stomach, and try not to give up the average diet.
