Saint Anthony is considered to be a protestor for Catholics in Istanbul. St. Anthony’s Church is one of the most beautiful churches in Istanbul. The main difference between a Catholic church and an Orthodox church is that there is no special place for icons in a catholic church. There is a small altar barrier instead of it.
