Baby cot is a purchase even more important than, say, a car. Sleep of your kid depends on what bed you choose. Hence, the sleep of all your family members in the next 2-3 years depends on the child-bed too. While visiting Turkey, you should choose the bed for your kid and Istanbul hotel with baby cot very carefully.
Plastic or wood
First of all, choose the material. If you want something light, choose plastic. On the other hand, wood is much more ecological. Since health is more vital for us (especially because it is the health of the child!) we will choose wooden baby cots in Istanbul hotels.
Which sort of wood
Usually, baby cots are made of wood itself or some other wooden material (veneer or suchlike). Wood is to be preferred, moreover, birch or alder will fit the best. However, if you can not afford it, choose another wooden material. As the compromise, pine is okay. It is ecological and inexpensive at the same time. Size
Whichever size the bed has, the main point is its sides. If they are not high enough, there is a danger that the kid falls off the bed. Too high sides are not convenient for the parents. Accessories
Accessories are vital as well. They include the pillow, the mattress, the case under the bed (for the bed-linen to store in). If all these are included and made of ecologically safe materials, buy the baby cot immediately (if you can afford it, of course).
